I. USER’S MANUAL FOR ALL TYPES OF MECHANICAL WATCHES

Your watch is repairable, but the watch back cover can be
opened and any repair works should be carried out
only by specialists-watchmakers in watch-shops.
The watch is a complex technical device, which requires
careful handling.
It will work trouble-free and keep high accuracy if
you do the following:
- wear the watch with automatic winding on your wrist
not less than 10 hours a day;
- protect the watch from falling and sharp shocks;
avoid exposing the watch to strong magnetic fields
and chemical agents;

3

- clean, lubricate and adjust as well as to check water impermeability of “water-resistant” watch not less than once in two years after warranty is expired;
It is not recommended:
- to open the case or remove its back cover; by that you protect your watch from un qualified service and ingress of dirt and dust into the watch movement;
- to expose the watch to temperature extremes as that causes weeping of the crystal.

Resistance to influence of magnetic fields with intensity less than 4800 A/M. Average watch life is 10 years in case of correct use.

Watches with automatic winding up

Mechanical watches with automatic winding up of the mainspring do not require manual winding.
Spontaneous movements of your hand make the rotor (oscillating weight) turn and thus winding the mainspring of the watch. Daily routine is enough for automatic winding up of the watch and it will go for a long time even if it is taken off the hand for a night. However, if the watch is not put on for 31 hours it will stop. In order to make the watch go again, rotate the watch crown clockwise about 25-30 turns, then set the time and the date. You can see an auto rotating oscillating weight in automatic watches with glass back cover.

II. WATER RESISTANCE

Level of water resistance and possibilities to use the watch correspond with the marking on the watch back cover.
-«Water resistant» or «Водонепроницаемые» – you can wash yourself, when there is no splashing of water under pressure;
- «Water resistant 3 ATM» or «Водонепроницаемые 3 ATM» – you can wear the watch in rain and wash yourself under a faucet, when water is splashed up under small pressure;
- «Water resistant 5 ATM» or «Водонепроницаемые 5 ATM» – you can water your garden and wash your car with water coming out of a hose;

6

- «Water resistant 10 ATM» or «Водонепроницаемые 10 ATM» – you can swim and dive (but not from a tower) and to swim under water without a scuba. Water resistant 5 and more atmospheres watches are as a rule equipped with screwed watch crowns. To set hands, wind up the watch, change the calendar setting or set a signal you should unscrew the screwed crown. (See picture 1)
